The priorities were to get the bothy water-tight, windproof and safer from the effects of the weather.  Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet, the wind howled and it was difficult to do the priorities in their natural order because one could not get outdoor painted surfaces to dry nor access to certain parts because of the conditions.  Dave helped out then strode off again into the mist.
