Dear Mr Grant O'Brien,
I am a peasant lady who approached you for assistance during your visit to our home village on the 27th February, 2006.
I did my tairloring course and other subjects in 2004 as you can see them on the Certificate you got.
Despite this course, I have failed to source some funds to buy my own sewing machine, material and other that that, can sustain my living.
Since you let a word to Mr William Phiri that I should write and list down the required items.
I begged for assistance in terms of a foot sewing Machine with spare parts, material, chemicals for tie and dye/Batik and, others like transport to Chipata where most of the material is found, a bicycle as transport for sewed items, solar panel, inventor, regulator and a solar battery for electricity during sewing at night.
Your assistance will alliviate my living and the community will as well benefit.
I shall be very greateful if my begging is considered at your mercy.
Hope to hear from you soon. GOD BLESS
Yours faithfully,
Justina Zulu Banda
N.B.! Dont forget a bible.
Note: Justina approached me on one of the trips we made to Roger's village near Kakumbi Old Palace. She gave me her certificate from the sewing school she attended with a record of her marks (excellent!) and her final certificate. She lives about 19km from the main airport road in a very isolated community.
Contact Grant if you feel you would like to sponsor Justina.
