Dear Sir,
APPLICATION FOR SPONSORSHIP
I am hereby applying for above mentioned headline. I am a Zambian orphan aged 17. I am a nephew to Isaac the well known weaver of baskets at Chiwawatala.
I am suppose to complete my education next term but I have failed due to financial problem. Kindly assist me we are paying K600,000 per term. I will be very much glad if my application shall be taken into consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Francisco Nkhoma
Note: This letter is from the nephew of Isacc Banda for whom Johnny and Grant are sponsoring a basket-weaver's course in Choma, Zambia. The letter was accompanied by a photocopied document from the Zambian Police Service from Gladys Nkhoma, stating that 'Francis Nkhoma is the second-born child of the late Clement Nkhoma and he was born on 27/11/1984 and has no birth record'. The document was sworn before a Commissioner of Oaths on 12 September 2005. The sum of Zambian Kwacha 600,000 is the equivalent of about US$200 or £150.
Contact Grant if you feel you would like to sponsor Francesco.
