A view from the new water tower of the pylons of the old water tower whose platform was eaten away by termites and collapsed.

The old staff quarters (read hovels) are visible in the background and two of the new staff buildings can be seen in the middle foreground.  For bureaucratic reasons the plumbing in the new buildings had never been installed and had to be done by the staff themselves.  The new buildings were still unoccupied when we left in April.
