At the top is the vellum used to make the lower layers of each level.  A series of punches of different diameters, a holder for the punches that can be accurately oriented, a compass for drawing the initial circles, a hammer, a Stanley knife, a couple of batteries for the CD Walkman, and a lot of patience are all that is required.
