The Finished Soundboard Rosettes

made by Johnny Bell

 

 

 

These are the finished rosette for the new 5-octave 'Mozart' harpsichords (large rosettes) and the new 4-octave harpsichord (small central rosette).  They are made of parchment and either thin pearwood or thin cypress wood by Johnny Bell.

 

Here is the rosette from Instrument number 7 with the strings in place
