The plain tuning hammer

 

 

        This tuning hammer is supplied free of charge with the Neapolitan harpsichords.  It fits the tuning pins accurately, and the long handle is comfortable to use and its length ensures easy and accurate tuning. 

         The handle is made of ebony and the shaft is of polished steel.
