Construction of 4 prototype Neapolitan harpsichords
The incomplete rosette without its wooden rings yet glued in place. The top two layers are of parchment and the three layers making up the lower portion of the rosette and glued to the underside of the soundboard are of thin (0.4mm) layers of cypress wood.
